April's Service Opportunity
Our April service project was the Rotary Week of Service Food Drive for the local food banks, a project that was actually initiated by the Interact Club at PHS.  The drive was conducted over two days, Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20, from 8:45A to 5:45P, at the 3 local Safeways.
 
Thanks to all those who participated from the 3 local Rotary Clubs. Over the years, our Food Drives have not only been impactful in supporting our local Food Banks but have also been described as enjoyable, meaningful and social by those who have participated. Our partnership with Safeway stores has been invaluable, and their generosity in allowing us to promote Rotary and engage with their shoppers is commendable.
