We collectively raise our wine glasses to you and our many sponsors and volunteers for supporting the 20th anniversary of Grapes 4 Good, the Rotary Club of Prescott-Frontier's signature fundraiser!
Together through the years, we have raised more than $500,000 for youth leadership programs and scholarships; teacher supply grants and school initiatives; community health and wellness efforts; food security and family assistance; veterans support programs; and international humanitarian projects through The Rotary Foundation.
We will announce the total raised for this year's event, which will contribute to our Frontier Rotary Charitable Fund, in mid-November. Stay tuned! Also, mark your calendars for next year's event on Sunday, September 19th.

From our New Club President
I am delighted to share that on Sunday, September 20, we celebrated our Rotary Club’s 20th Anniversary of Grapes 4 Good at Watters Garden Center. If you missed this event, you can view photos of the evening on our website www.Prescottfrontierrotary.com.
It was an amazing evening filled with music from the Prescott Symphony & Youth Orchestra Quartet, playing as guests entered the Garden Center. A new addition to the event was local professional artist Jenny Rose Harlow, using her magical skills to paint a stunning landscape picture of Thumb Butte that was later offered in the Live Auction. Catering by Liz provided tasty Charcuterie items paired with US and International wines. Celebratory cupcakes were elegantly served tableside. Brief presentations from 5495 Rotary District Governor Joe Sweeney, Club President Donna Jacobs, and PUSD Superintendent Clark Tenney discussed the lasting impact of giving internationally and to our local community over the last 20 years.
A variety of opportunities to donate to the Frontier Rotary Club-Prescott’s Charitable 501c3 Fund included Raffle and Silent Auction, Wine Pull, Lucky Lotus drawings, and Live auction bidding. Auctioneer extraordinaire, John Murphy, set the stage for an evening filled with active bidding on amazing trips and donations. Many happy attendees left at the close of the event. Special thanks to our Sponsors, Donors, and Contributors; our Rotarians and non-Rotarian volunteers; Sky City Productions for their AV magic; and Ken, Lisa, and McKenzie Lain and their dedicated team at Watter’s Garden Center. Their contributions to making this a successful fundraising event cannot be overstated!

One Day. One Focus. Ending Polio.
October 24 is World Polio Day, when Rotary members and communities worldwide come together to raise awareness and support efforts to eradicate one of the world’s most devastating diseases.
Polio is a highly contagious disease that can cause permanent paralysis and, in severe cases, death. It primarily affects children under the age of five. While many of us in the United States may think of polio as a disease of the past, it has not yet been eliminated.
Rotary has been working to end polio for more than 45 years. Since 1988, Rotary and its partners have helped reduce polio cases worldwide by 99.9% and have helped protect more than 3 billion children in 122 countries through vaccination and other eradication efforts. Today, wild polio remains endemic in only Afghanistan and Pakistan.
That incredible progress is something to celebrate—but it is also why we cannot stop now. We must keep working to keep other countries polio-free. If all eradication efforts stopped today, within 10 years, polio could paralyze as many as 200,000 children each year.
Every child deserves the opportunity to grow up free from the threat of polio. Continued vaccination, disease surveillance, and rapid response are essential to protecting decades of progress.
This World Polio Day, Help Us Finish the Job.
The Rotary Club of Prescott-Frontier encourages our members, friends, and community to join us in supporting Rotary’s End Polio Now campaign. Every donation helps provide vaccines, transportation, and other resources needed to keep children protected.
Together, we can help make history by making polio a disease of the past.
On September 26th, at a luncheon held at VFW 10227 in Prescott Valley, Prescott-Frontier Rotary again honored families who lost loved ones in military service by presenting American Gold Star Mothers and Fathers in our community with a bouquet of flowers in remembrance of their son or daughter. Special thanks to Rakini Chinery, owner of Allan's Flowers & More, for her generous donation.
